CHINA TORI

You say I’m a talkative
but I stand bold to say
that you are wrong.
I have not said the
words yet; my word.

I will keep speaking
until my utterances
effect the change
that my mind sees
and my heart seeks

And only then
can my utterances
be called my word
and you’d be right
if you say I have spoken.
